At what time am I posting this?  At NOPE’O’CLOCK. (god that didn’t even make sense)

On a serious note, this is one of the first times a character was “supposed” to be hideous and he/she actually was.  Well, one other for me was Young Justice, but this…this is, like, jesus.  And honestly, I feel it would possibly—and that’s a pretty indeterminate “possibly”—detract from my interpretation of my character if I viewed her as anything BUT balls-to-the-walls hideous.  She cosplays to make herself seem pretty, for fuck’s sake.  This is an integral part of who she is.
